Our platform is build on ChatGPT-5, developed by OpenAI. All processing takes place on EU-based servers, ensuring compliance with GDPR and strict data-residency requirements.

We minimise data storage wherever possible, storing only what’s necessary to deliver and ensure a secure and reliable service.

Prompts and responses are automatically checked and filtered to protect privacy and keep interactions safe, respectful, and suitable for a school setting.

A brief summary
  • We use language models from ChatGPT from Microsoft Azure OpenAI, which processes the text that is submitted on its servers in Europe.
  • Chat history is stored locally for 30 days. This data is not stored on our servers and is only accessible from their device. If another user logs in using the same browser, the previous history will be erased.
  • A user may potentially include personal information as part of the text when using the service. We do not store the text on our servers after use, but it is sent to Microsoft Azure OpenAI in Sweden.
  • Microsoft Azure OpenAI keeps texts for up to 30 days to prevent misuse of the service. These texts are not used for further training of the algorithm, and OpenAI does not have access to them.
  • If you use voice-to-text, the audio is never sent to our servers, only directly to Microsoft in Sweden. They never store the audio and only process it encrypted in "memory" while the audio is being processed. It is deleted immediately after the text is generated.
Access and control
Teachers and assigned school admins are in control of what students can see and do when using Schoolhub.
Admin controls
Choose which chatbots and tools are available to teachers and students. Turn features on/off for classes or whole year groups.

We support your national identity management solution, to ensure safe login and role based access management.
